Japanese Business Alliance in Serbia (JBAS) and Development Agency of Serbia (RAS) are joining the efforts in enhancing cooperation between Japan and Serbia.
JBAS and RAS have signed the Memorandum of Understanding with a goal of efficiently coordinating activities aiming to further support improvement of economic cooperation between Japan and Serbia.
MoU has been signed by Ms. Danijela Cabarkapa, JBAS Executive Director and Mr. Rados Gazdic, Acting Director of RAS.
JBAS and RAS will work on connecting the business people of two countries with a goal of strengthening business relations and cooperation, exchanging information about business opportunities in both countries and providing support to business people when doing business in Japan and Serbia, enabling knowledge exchange and better understanding of business culture and values of two countries, which should all lead to further intensification of business cooperation between Japan and Serbia.
Also, cooperation that both institutions already have with Japanese organizations JETRO and JICA, will be further strengthen and improved through consultations and providing recommendations by Japanese business circles gathered under the JBAS umbrella, which will contribute to further improvement of business conditions and growth of Japanese business community in Serbia.
JBAS Board of Directors members, Mr. Naoki Tsukada, General Manager of Mitsubishi Corporation Belgrade Liaison Office and Mr. Jovica Lukic, Country Manager Serbia, Astellas Pharma Representative Office Belgrade, have joined the MoU signing ceremony together with Mr. Milos Boricic, Chief of Business Development, Mitsubishi Corporation Belgrade Liaison Office.
Mr. Tsukada has pointed out the potential for advancement of Japanese business presence in Serbia and once again confirmed that Mitsubishi Corporation and he personally will support further growth of Japanese business society in Serbia by sharing positive experiences related to doing business in Serbia.
